2025-2026 Rec Basketball Evals

This Sunday, November 16th at LMS are the Rec Basketball evaluations.

There are no evals for grades K through 2nd.

These evals are used by coaches to help select balanced teams. They should be fun for the players, as it is simply a series of pickup games with other players from their division. Please make every attempt possible to attend during your division's time if you are registered for rec basketball. Please arrive around 5-10 minutes before your scheduled time so you can check in but no earlier, as the group before will be finishing up.

Time For Each Division:

Girls 3/4 - 12:30 - 1:20 PM

Girls 5/6 - 1:30 - 2:20 PM

Girls 7/8 - 2:30 - 3:20 PM

Boys 3/4 - 3:30 - 4:20 PM

Boys 5/6 - 4:30 - 5:20 PM

Boys 7/8 - 5:30 - 6:20 PM

Winter Basketball Programs

Registration FOR THE HIGH SCHOOL
AND THE UNIFIED PROGRAMS ARE OPEN!

Each winter season, the Londonderry Basketball Club (LBC) provides a range of basketball opportunities for Londonderry youth, helping them develop their skills, build friendships, and grow through practice and competition.

Travel Basketball (3rd–8th Grade)

LBC offers competitive Travel Basketball for boys and girls in 3rd through 8th grade. Players must try out to earn a spot on these teams, which compete against other town travel teams throughout southern NH and northern MA. Away games typically require a 35-minute drive, though some may be up to an hour away.

Tryouts are held in early October each year.

Recreation Basketball

LBC’s Recreation ("Rec") Basketball program emphasizes learning and development over competition. The goal is to teach the game in a structured yet fun environment, ensuring equal playing time for all participants.

  • Practices & Games: Held on weekends
  • Season Length: Early December – Late February
  • Playoffs & All-Star Games: Early March

High School Rec League

LBC offers a High School Rec League, where players form their own teams—typically with local friends—and coach themselves. Varsity basketball players cannot participate but often volunteer as coaches.

3rd–8th Grade Rec Leagues

LBC provides separate leagues for boys and girls across the following age groups:

  • 3rd & 4th Grade
  • 5th & 6th Grade
  • 7th & 8th Grade

Kindergarten–2nd Grade Rec Basketball

For younger players (K–2nd grade), the program consists of a one-hour combined practice and scrimmage session each weekend, focusing on fundamentals and fun.

LBC welcomes players of all skill levels, fostering a love for basketball in a supportive and engaging community.

UNIFIED Rec Basketball

Unified basketball is a sport where individuals with and without intellectual disabilities play on the same team, promoting inclusion, social connection, and teamwork. It combines players with intellectual disabilities (Unified partners) and their peers without intellectual disabilities (Unified partners) to work together towards a common goal. The primary focus is on the shared experience of playing together and building friendships, not just on winning.

Unified Basketball is available for children in grades 2-7.

Our Mission

The Londonderry Basketball Club (LBC) is a private non-profit organization formed to provide the youth of Londonderry an opportunity to learn and play the game of basketball.

LBC has been sanctioned by the Town of Londonderry to be responsible to organize, fund and operate both the recreation and travel programs for the town. The overall goal of LBC is to provide an appropriate basketball experience for all levels of ability. We stress sportsmanship, teamwork and enjoyment in both the recreational and travel programs.

We receive no direct funding from the Town of Londonderry. The programs, equipment, uniforms and referees are self-funded through tournaments and participation fees. It is our goal to provide instruction and enjoyment to each child and to help them reach their full potential.
